The present Hunstanton and District Camera Club reformed in 1984 and is a member of the East Anglian Federation. It encourages photographers of all abilities to get together and improve their techniques and understanding of all aspects of photography.

Our annual programme is compiled with this in mind, and covers a variety of practical sessions, guest speakers, competitions, inter-club battles and club outings. During the summer period photographic days out are arranged at suitable venues where the more experienced members can help those that would like advice with composition and camera techniques. Some visits may also be arranged as workshops, given by well know photographers or specialist photographers, which, in the past have been very enjoyable as well as educational.

In addition we have sub-group where lessons on camera controls and techniques are given, as well as impromptu photo-shoots arranged to help those new to photography, or who would like to improve. The group also hold the occasional lesson on photographic software such as Lightroom, Photoshop and Elements, these lessons can be either one to one, or in very small groups and covers everything from the basic tools, to the more advanced.

If you are a complete novice or already a competent photographer using either digital imaging or conventional film, then you will be welcomed at our club. We are known to be a friendly Camera club so why not drop in for an evening to find out if we and our programme suit you. We meet the first and third Thursday of the month at 7.30 pm at:

Freebridge Housing,
Orchard Close,
